What Not to pack

You should consider transporting valuable and irreplaceable items in the car with you rather than on the truck. In addition, there are several other dangerous items that can not be put on the truck. These include hazardous material such as explosives, compressed gases, flammable liquids and solids, oxidizers, poisons, corrosives and radioactive materials. Common examples include:

- Nail polish remover
- Lighter fluid
- Paints and paint thinners
- Automotive repair and maintenance chemicals
- Fireworks
- Gasoline
- Oxygen bottles
- Propane cylinders
- Radio-pharmaceuticals

Other items not recommended for transport on the van include:

- Firearms
- Matches
- Plants Prescription drugs needed for immediate use
- Food in glass jars and perishable foods

Transport items of personal or sentimental value in your vehicle, such as

- Family photos
- Jewelry
- Moving documents
- Cash
- Collectibles (i.e., coins)
- Negotiable papers (i.e., certificates, stocks, bonds, etc.)
- Important personal papers (i.e., wills, deeds)
- Medications

Quick Tip: Propane cylinders, such as those used with gas grills, are not allowed for van transport.
